Tourism in Passara, is the one and only site dedicated to the hidden wonders of the Passara area. The places you would visit here are not listed in any websites or on any tourist magazines at all.

I request the travelers to enjoy the beauty of it and leave it as you found it. Encourage your friends to visit here, and I am willing to help with in my capacity.

This life is short and it’s the only one we have, where people mostly work, produce, consume, rest and repeat throughout life. This may appear strenuous, and you may feel that you need a break. It is then that you decide to travel. While traveling you must not repeat the same day to day activities you are used to. Enjoy travel and do not be destination oriented. Of course you must decide the destination, but on your way to destination there may be thousands of things that you can see. I recommend you to use a travel guide and read, short list things that you can do, and see on your way.

Of course, it’s up to you to find your own path. Travel is only one possibility that you can choose for relaxation. Just choose a path with meaning. It’s the process that matters, not the arrival, and the journey is in the meetings along the way.

Guided Tours.

For the time being I am offering only weekend guided tours around my area. I can accommodate week day activities on Public Holiday only. 

  • Each Option is one day guided tour.
  • Mode of Travel - Three Wheeler ( Tuk tuk).   
    • No of Guest -     02  ( free for children accompanying) 
  • Motor bicycle guided tours are available for solo guest for the half the rates quoted below. 
  • Prices are quoted in Sri Lankan rupees and half of the tour cost must be paid when booking.  Price includes tuk tuk charge to visit the place.
  • Entry fee is excluded in price.  
  • You can hire my tuk tuk to visit places on your own ( unguided tour). Tuk tuk charge can be negotiated.  
  • Special discounted rates for guest staying in my Home stay Cabana.

Small worlds end, DS rock and  tea estates tour  - LKR. 3000.00 ( 2000.00)

Option 2

Passara city, Passara Raja Maha temple, Arudunu falls and trekking Lunugala mountain - LKR. 6000. 00 (4000.00)

Option 3

Namunukula city, Small Adam's peak, Rawana falls, Green tea factory, Uva Halpewatta Black tea factory, Dowa temple, Nine arched bridge, Demodara railway station, St. Mark's chruch, English fort, Cathedral, Muthiyangana temple, Wewessa falls, and tea sales centre.-  LKR. 8000. 00 ( 5000.00)

* if green tea factory not available I can take the guest to nearest black tea factory. 
  • if you wish to have Ayueveda massage and spa I can arrange them on the visit to Ella or on a separate day trip to Ella for discounted rate.


Option 4

Namunukula Mountain Hiking and Bambarakanda plains  - LKR. 5000.00 ( 4000.00)

Pessa falls, and Natural Bathing spot-  LKR. 3000. 00 ( 2000.00)

 Option 6
Sunrise view point, tea trails hiking/ stroll, visit to Hindu temple, Elteb pond, tea plucking experience- LKR. 2500.00 (1500.00)
( tea plucking only available if the plucking done on that time)

I can also arrange for Safari in Kumana National Park for comparatively cheaper rate and animal spotting guaranteed. 
Factory Fresh unblended pure tea is available on request. Please make request when booking for tour.
