Tourism in Passara, is the one and only site dedicated to the hidden wonders of the Passara area. The places you would visit here are not listed in any websites or on any tourist magazines at all.

I request the travelers to enjoy the beauty of it and leave it as you found it. Encourage your friends to visit here, and I am willing to help with in my capacity.

This life is short and it’s the only one we have, where people mostly work, produce, consume, rest and repeat throughout life. This may appear strenuous, and you may feel that you need a break. It is then that you decide to travel. While traveling you must not repeat the same day to day activities you are used to. Enjoy travel and do not be destination oriented. Of course you must decide the destination, but on your way to destination there may be thousands of things that you can see. I recommend you to use a travel guide and read, short list things that you can do, and see on your way.

Of course, it’s up to you to find your own path. Travel is only one possibility that you can choose for relaxation. Just choose a path with meaning. It’s the process that matters, not the arrival, and the journey is in the meetings along the way.

Solo Travelers

It is becoming a new trend in the tourist field that people travel alone to foreign countries, to experience the wonders that the new destination are offering. With that many people have begun to Hitchhiking their journey on the unknown land.
Some use this new concept of Couch surfing, where they find some online friends to stay a night or two. It’s a great  way to meet people and;

  • Here are few tips to help you when you travel alone.

· Always use the public transport as much as possible.
· Travel During day time.
· Find out the hours of the public transport on the road you travel.
· Carry a  Road map always.
· Carry a Mobile phone with you.
· Have currency notes in small amounts. Like Rs. 10,20,50 and 100 notes. Have some coins with you too, it be helpful.
· Have the Numbers of  Nearest Police Station stored in it.
· Carry your Passport and any other Identifications with you.
· If you are driving your own vehicle or riding a Motorbike have your Driving License and Valid Vehicle Insurance Certificate and  Yearly Vehicle Registration Certificate with you.
· Talk to people when you want to get photographs and get their consent. Remember, not only people, there are places (with historical value) where you are not allowed to take photographs.
· Have  someone calling you and make sure you are safe and fine.
· Make sure you have a place booked or friend to host you for the night.
· Reach the place well before its dark.

  • If you are hitchhiking;

· Never stay on the road after 5 pm and don’t try to travel at night.
· Find out the road you want to hitchhike is well commuted with vehicles.
· Look out for alternative roads to the destination.
· Make  sure the vehicle you stop is with more than 2 or 3 persons.
· Always try to talk to people before you get in to any vehicle.
· Note down the vehicle number,  just in case you might need it.

  • If you are Couch surfing;

· Confirm your stay for the night with the host.
· Have his/her number with you.
· Let them know the time of your arrival.
· Have  them pick you up or arrange the pick up in advance.
· Carry your sanitary items and medicines with you.
